The above charges are for the time that services are performed in the home or over the telephone.

Additional Information:

Home consultation fees include:
1. A visit to the client's home (average length of time of the initial consultation is 2 - 3 hours and follow-up consultations is 1 - 2 hours).
2. A review of the behavior history questionnaire, a complete physical exam, a discussion of the behavior problem(s) and diagnosis, and mutually agreed upon treatment plan.
3. A written report of the recommended treatment plan including behavioral modification program, follow-up diagnostic testing, and, if needed, drug therapy.
4. Follow-up telephone calls that do not require another consultation (e.g., questions regarding recommendations, the need to pursue drug therapy, etc.) are provided at no additional charge.

1. A telephone call from the client (average length of time of the initial consultation is 1 1/2 - 2 1/2 hours and follow-up consultations is 1 - 2 hours).
2. A review of the behavior history questionnaire, a discussion of the behavior problem(s) and diagnosis, and mutually agreed upon treatment plan.
3. A written report of the recommended treatment plan including behavioral modification program, follow-up diagnostic testing, and, if needed, drug therapy.
4. Follow-up telephone calls that do not require another consultation (e.g., questions regarding recommendations, the need to pursue drug therapy, etc.) are provided at no additional charge.

A summary of the behavioral consultation is sent to the family veterinarian.
 
Consultations are available during the day Monday through Friday. Evening appointments are available on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Payment for services is required at the time of the consultation, unless prior arrangements are made.

Transportation Fee
For home consultations, a transportation fee of $0.49 per mile roundtrip applies.

PLEASE NOTE: Clients will be charged a one hour consultation fee for all non-emergency cancellations made less than 48 hours from the scheduled appointment.
